Answers to the essentials.
Everything you'll want to know before you enquire — from lead times to allergies to how to secure your date.
How is my cake priced?
Every cake is bespoke, so pricing depends on the number of tiers, size, complexity of decoration, sugar-flower work and finish (buttercream or fondant). Our pricing page shows starting prices for guidance.
How far in advance should I order?
For weddings we recommend 3–6 months. Celebration cakes typically need 3–4 weeks — the earlier you book, the more likely we can fit your date.
Do you deliver?
Yes. We deliver across London and can travel further afield for weddings. Delivery is quoted separately based on venue distance and set-up requirements.
Can I collect my cake?
Yes — collection from our London SE1 studio can be arranged for smaller celebration cakes and cupcakes. Tiered wedding cakes are always delivered by us for safety.
Do you offer cake tastings?
We do. Tastings are £40 per couple and include a curated selection of our sponge and filling flavours. The fee is redeemed against your cake order if you book with us.
How do I secure my wedding date?
A £200 non-refundable deposit secures your date. The balance is due four weeks before the wedding.
Buttercream or fondant — which should I choose?
Buttercream is soft, buttery and beautifully piped — perfect for painterly or floral finishes. Fondant gives crisp lines, sculpted detail and works especially well for sugar flowers and metallics.
Can you cater to allergies or dietary needs?
We can adapt many designs for gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan diets. Please tell us at enquiry stage so we can plan the recipe carefully. We are not a nut-free kitchen.
Do you make cupcakes and smaller treats?
Yes — cupcakes from £3 each, plus macarons, brownies, meringues and Japanese cheesecake. These pair beautifully alongside a main cake.
Can I use fresh flowers on my cake?
Absolutely. We prepare flowers safely with food-grade barriers, or we can hand-craft sugar flowers if you'd prefer an entirely edible finish.
Do you teach cake decorating classes?
Yes — small-group masterclasses run through the year, covering piping, sugar flowers and full cake finishes. See our Classes page for the current schedule.
